Cole Pinnow Is Appointed President of Pfizer Canada

KIRKLAND, QC, Jan. 23, 2020 ̶ Cole Pinnow has been named President of Pfizer Canada ULC, effective January 6, 2020.
Mr. Pinnow, a veteran of more than 20 years with Pfizer, succeeds John Helou who is retiring after a distinguished 35-year career in the pharmaceutical industry and eight years at the helm of Pfizer Canada. We sincerely thank John for his contribution to the Canadian pharmaceutical industry and for his commitment to patients. Before his appointment, Mr. Pinnow was the Canada Lead for Pfizer’s Hospital business. Prior to joining the Canadian organization in 2018, Cole was Vice President and Lead of Pfizer’s Alternate Site organization with responsibility for the Pfizer Essential Health business in the U.S. nonacute market. Before Pfizer’s acquisition of Hospira, he served as the Vice President of Global Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for Hospira’s biosimilars, sterile injectables and proprietary products and served as the executive chair of important strategic partnerships
Mr. Pinnow was awarded a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Management as well as a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Iowa State University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Mr. Pinnow is married and is the father of four children. He is an avid swimmer and outdoor enthusiast. He is based at the company's Canadian headquarters office in Kirkland, Quebec.
