Engaging with the Community
At Pfizer, patients are at the heart of everything we do. We extend our support to external organizations that raise disease awareness, advance scientific research, and strengthen their communities. We recognize that individuals living with a given health condition are the ones who know best about the impact their disease has on their life, including the challenges and needs associated with it. One of the ways Pfizer works to ensure that we meet those needs is by working with groups who have a direct connection with the communities they represent.
Pfizer Canada is deeply committed to reducing health disparities and creating lasting social impact. We do this by developing partnerships with non-profit organizations and community groups addressing social determinants of health across Canada, as well as encouraging our colleagues to make a difference in their communities by having volunteer programs and donation campaigns. We also provide support to local, regional, national initiatives as well as organizations who address humanitarian disasters when needed.

We seek new partners that are actively researching bold scientific ideas, capabilities and technologies that have the potential to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer’s areas of interest.
To elevate Canada’s life sciences ecosystem and achieve the innovation we seek, cross-sector collaboration is essential and at the core of continuing to raise disease awareness, bring new and innovative therapies to patients and support solutions that can improve health outcomes.
Pfizer supports the global healthcare community’s independent initiatives (e.g., research, quality improvement, or education) to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer’s areas of interest.
