EPIPEN Supply Update

Update – EpiPen Supply in Canada  (September 11, 2019)

In July, Pfizer Canada updated the public that we may experience supply constraints of the EpiPen 0.3 mg format over the coming months.

Product is still routinely shipping to Canada and we continue to manage available EpiPen 0.3 mg auto-injector supply through measured national allocation to wholesalers to support their provision to patients across the country.

During the coming weeks, we expect continued tight supplies and variability in pharmacy-level access. Patients may go to their pharmacy and find that EpiPen 0.3 mg auto-injectors are not immediately available.

We fully recognize the criticality of EpiPen auto-injectors to patients and physicians and are working hard to ensure consistent supply.

At this time, the situation only affects EpiPen auto-injectors in the 0.3 mg format and there is supply of EpiPen Jr (0.15 mg) auto-injectors at wholesalers, distributors and at pharmacies.
