Pfizer’s Consumer Products Unaffected by Health Canada Ephedra/ephedrine RecallPFIZER’S CONSUMER PRODUCTS UNAFFECTED BY HEALTH CANADA EPHEDRA/EPHEDRINE RECALL

A recent Health Canada recall of products containing Ephedra/ephedrine has
no affect on Pfizer’s Consumer products. None of Pfizer’s Consumer
products contain Ephedra/ephedrine. We are in no way affected by this
recall.
A number of Pfizer’s over-the-counter cough/cold and allergy products –
including Sudafed - contain an ingredient called pseudoephedrine, which has been
reviewed and fully approved by Health Canada. It is an ingredient that has
been used safely and effectively for decades.
